Be justice he he lost the championship because he was banned for not riding out for a place.

The most blatant i have seen for a while...if there wasn`t a problem with the horse he should get the maximum ban imo

for a champion jockey , that is very poor .

i think he just gives up trying if he feels the horse has nothing left , but if you don't try , how will you know ?

if McCoy had that mentality , he would have lost on many mounts

Guys a joke, we all know that, albeit a fortuitous winner I noticed Beacon won a big race earlier today without Hughes up after his poor riding of the horse previously, Hughes is a vvanker of the very highest order, absolutely no respect for the punters who keep the show on the road.

Why back any of his rides for a place if you all know this. They layers are happy to take him on because he regularly does nothing more than flick his wrist if he can`t win.

So why do it to yourselves?

Just watched the race again.
He drops his hand at the furlong pole.
Thinks hes on a bus for the last furlong.
I backed the second, but my god I despise this ****.

Angel - very true what you said but its the blind hope that he will ride out for a place if he cant win, I've done it many times with him and the layers have gladly taken my money Sad, he's a bastard.

I now only ever back him each way in listed/group races and valuable handicaps. had my fingers burned too often. Disgrace that those mealy mouthed cowards at the BHA just let it happen time and time again and the racing post just ignores it.Wonder if it's profitable to place lay him in run of the mill handicaps and maidens.

The horse racing industry don't give a flying fcuk for punters and punters imo are voting with their feet now.

Sad but true i feel.

Horse Racing wont die, there's too much money to be made out of it.

But the moaners on here constantly whining about dubious rides, and I know I've done twice in the last week as well so kind of adding myself in this argument as well to a degree, but someone above moaning about Hughes's ride on Bennelong, the horse wasn't handicapped to win the race anyway, its an exposed rag imo, will win again but not until its down in the weights, that's how the handicap works, trainers have to target a specific race, and they can only do that by running it in races that it has no chance in, tells the jockey to hold it up and don't stick it in the race and make it look like its got no chance in this class.

I don't moan about rides in competitive handicaps, 16 runner affairs as lets be honest there's too much to take in, pace, draw, ground going becomes even more a factor.

People on here moan about every ride in every race, you simply cannot be betting in every race surely ?, bet in every race every day and the bookies will wipe you out and make you homeless simple as that, yes we get rides like the shambolic Turner one last night at Wolves but in this game you need to accept it quickly and move on to the next day, chasing will wipe you out.

I am glad you agree it was a dubious ride Horse Burger and that you have publicly questioned the integrity of British trainers/jockeys on a social media siteLaugh

Layboy - Its accepted that trainers don't try in races to bring the handicap mark down, most punters accept it as well, its all part and parcel of the game, if you cant accpet it then I suggest you pack it in and target another sport. betting in 14 runner handicaps on the AW is a sure way to the poor house long term.

Those who accept wrong doing are weak and those that take advice from a novice who spends most his time on a betfair forum aged 25 are even weaker!

Take some advice from me, have one day off a week from your laptop/computer and spend it amongst other human beings. Perhaps talk to them, ask them how their day is going, say hello to someone without typing it into mobile phone or keyboard, tell someone they are pretty, get on a bus or train to know where in particular, watch a sunset, sniff a flower, splash in a puddle, have a pint in a real rough pub, then try this for 2 days then 3 until you no longer need to pretend your someone your not hiding behind your secret identity. Then the big test travel the world, apply all you have learnt from your new experiences and when you have done all this maybe, just maybe you will be fit enough to offer people advice on a forum, which I have noticed your are so fond of doing!

This will be the best advice you will ever receive so go do it!ExcitedGo on off you goExcited
