Did anyone go to Malton Open day?

Looks like a resounding no then

Sorry, I've only just seen this post.
I traveled up from Southampton and stayed in Malton on the Saturday night ready for the open day on Sunday.
I don't often get away on my own, so I was really looking forward to the trip.
And... it was fantastic.
I had a great weekend.
I didn't visit all the stables, but those I did were very welcoming.
Trainers and stable staff were keen to answer any questions as well as give info on horses.
The buses that were laid on ran like clockwork.
Weather was fantastic.
If you've never been, I would strongly suggest you try and make it next year...and I'll see you there!

i went last year but did not go  this year and it was great to say this is a horse racing forum and hardly anyone from the forum went by the looks of things

I went through Malton on the train on Sat but didn't get off

I've been before, and intended to this year, but couldn't make it unfortunately. Sounds like it was a good day.
