GET RICH(er) Slowly
Do you have 100 points that you are willing to lose? Can you deal with being 60 points down without giving up? Are you willing to believe that long term profit is possible even in the face of large short term losses? Are you willing to forgo high profile races in the pursuit of profit from low level dross Can you bring yourself to bet on the All Weather racing? If the answer to all of the above is yes then this service may be for you WE FULLY EXPECT TO MAKE BETWEEN 40 and 100 POINTS PROFIT PER YEAR AT INDUSTRY SP However this is not evenly distributed over the year (we are in fact 30 points down on the current flat season to date) and so patience and fortitude is required. Cost per annum is £300 or £180 for either the flat (May-Sept) or Jumps/AW Nov-March Views on whether that is tempting or not |

By:
Not tempting for me but might tempt someone who is a regular loser.

Its pretty neat and exciting
Im sure the "join us , we are 30 points down !! " will lure in a few |

Get richer after you get poorer

By:
at least theres no nasty shocks ,
you know your going to lose before you start , makes it all a lot easier so you can plan ahead |

Just thought it was marginally more honest than the tosh that appears now with profits to advertised (where???) prices that are not obtainable and showing returns to £200 per point (what normal punter has 10 - 20K they are willing to dedicate to betting which is what £200 per point implies??

I once phoned a telephone tipster years ago and he said
" today's horse is blah because I recommended on this line 7 times before and it is yet to win but I think today is the day"..and it won surprisingly enough but at 8-1. |
|
By:
Excellent Breeding but I think my rather clumsily stated point is that they don't usually tell you about the 7 losers
|
|
By:
Just wondering how a line that offered a modicum of honesty and no ridiculous claims of get rich quick would go down
|
|
By:
There wouldn't be enough room on the adverts if they had
to list all their losers would take full pages ![]() |
|
By:
Why are you short of funds for betting?

|
By:
Not at all just suspect that an advert giving a hint of reality wouldn't get many replies
|
|
By:
If I worded it far less honestly
Do you want to earn a second income of 60 times your stake WE FULLY EXPECT TO MAKE BETWEEN 40 and 100 POINTS PROFIT PER YEAR AT INDUSTRY SP Cost per annum is £300 or £180 for either the flat (May-Sept) or Jumps/AW Nov-March Would that be a better advert?? |
|
By:
Yes your probably right very little honesty is used in these adverts,
|
|
By:
But which would result in the more contented punters (win or lose). I strongly suspect the former that at least acknowledges losing bets rather than the latter that doesn't
|
|
By:
if you want to know the answer you need to do 'split testing'
I suggest you go to http://www.warriorforum.com/ and ask the guys on there enormous internet marketing forum, they will know much better what to do hth |
|
By:
Firstly, you will need to get a huge bank loan to afford an advert like that in a daily newspaper. Secondly, it`s too negative. Thirdly, the Punters who send for tips wouldn`t have the intelligence to understand the concept. Don`t waste your dough.
|
|
By:
People who send for "Wires" don`t buy the Racing Post. Better with a direct mail shot to compulsive gamblers. 5p a name.

don't really accept that it is more honest
true, there is an admission that losing runs are to be encountered but they are still trying to say that they will more or less guarantee a profit over a certain time period don't see myself how they can do this |
