Oddschecker site currently has virus asking you to update java, you have no choice when it pops up, and means the site can no longer function.

Do you think Java is advising you that your Java is out of date...and needs to upgrade to view the Site.

no lol, its a popup on oddschecker, then it downloads a setup file automatically but fails when scanned as its a virus, you cant click on anything else and it downloads automatically, then does a constant threat scan to clear it.. which is what the virus actually is supposed to do.

Is it contagious?Excited

I got in fine with no Virus Warning or Pop Ups....

Try and run Superantispyware, the free Edition...that will sort out any Virus on your Machine.

Uninstall java, or at the very leat remove the java plugin from all your browsers. There are very few websites that use java applets nowdays. It's only useful for virus writers and scammers
Report dave1357 August 16, 2014 11:48 AM BST
think you might be including javascript with java magoo.  Loads of websites need javascript and loads of viruses need it as well.
