Heffernan, placed third, Henson (GB), ridden by F.M. Berry, placed second and Antique Platinum, ridden by P.J. Smullen, placed first, where it appeared that Henson (GB) had received interference from Antique Platinum when delivering his challenge in the closing stages. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards made no alteration to the Judge's placings and took no further action.

Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who stated that he drank water after weighing out as he was dehydrated. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that A. O'Shea was in breach of Rule 231 and suspended him for 1 raceday.
19th july curragh The Stewards received a report from Mr. P.L. Malone , Turf Club Clerk of the Scales, regarding the fact that J.P. O'Brien, rider of Tapestry, weighed in at 1.6 lbs overweight. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who stated that he had taken a drink of water at the start and also that his mount sweated up due to the delayed start which may have accounted for the overweight on his return. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards accepted the explanation offered and took no further action.

smullen caused the initial problem hampering the 3 horses on his inside ,fran berry then added to the problen by going for a that was not there nearly uptting henson over the rails in doing so , and the stewards caused the biggest problem by letting both jockeys get away scot free, and i did not have a bet so no pocket talk here
