that kid who died at that rave having half a gramme of MDMA was one unlucky bugger.
Half a gramme and 3 heart attacks he had, 16 years old.
Thats as rare as rocking horse s hit that, nevertheless its still rampant bad luck.

Jumping around like a mad man (kid) first timer didnt help Im sure.
I once knew of a 13 year old who had a heart attack running up a flight of stairs
Report jonjon July 24, 2014 7:32 PM BST

Symptoms of dehydration in adults

The signs and symptoms of dehydration range from minor to severe.

Increased thirst
Dry mouth
Weakness
Dizziness
Palpitations (feeling that the heart is jumping or pounding)
Confusion
Sluggishness, even fainting
Inability to sweat
Decreased urination, darker urine colour may indicate dehydration. imagine dancing in that searing heat and on top of that taking recreational drugs their hearts must be almost bursting , hence the huge water intake , but goverment should not allow them to charge this for water imo , stop the kids drinking enough !

thing is every death gets listed, what is it about 64 or so deaths for the year I read (dont know if thats just certain drugs or all)
But thats a tiny amount compared to the amount of drugs snaffled every weekend all over the place.
Report dustybin July 24, 2014 7:38 PM BST
*Actually Im not sure what that figure represented now because Im sure I read 160 odd deaths had been attributed to cocaine alone this year

I remember the first time I ever went to the arc over 30 years ago when three troikas won, went out on the Saturday night with Reg Boyle (bookmaker) and others, we ended u in a clip joint we got 8 bottles of lager and a bottle of water it came to £64 and the water was as dear as the lager!! never paid as much for the same round since, and we never got any "extras"

Anyone know how Reg is doing these days.
Report dustybin July 24, 2014 8:50 PM BST
hahaha so the intoxicants that are taxed are ok (even though they kill far more than all other drugs combined)
Report dustybin July 24, 2014 8:52 PM BST
love that argument that because the law makers decree something that it somehow becomes moral, therefore the things like control fraud that werent unlawful were therefore moral too
Report themightymac July 24, 2014 8:56 PM BST
Never heard of anybody breaking into houses or mugging old age pensioners for a pint and a packet of f*gs

at least pre 70s only the rich who could afford drugs took them. All the thieves around here are addicts. They are even stealing garden gnomes from old ladie`s gardens to feed their habit. Drugs are the road to ruin.

Report themightymac July 24, 2014 9:13 PM BST
Like I said, a lot of professional people take drugs, particularly cocaine, the difference is that they can afford it and do it discreetly. Ordinary working class people can`t afford to feed their habit and end up turning to crime. They even steal from their own families. Will do anything to get cash for drugs. Society is crumbling at the grass roots because of it. Chemists full of addicts, that look like zombies, getting Methadone. All admit that they have ruined their lives and wish they had never started.
Report dustybin July 24, 2014 9:33 PM BST
you are talking predominantly about heroin, thats an extreme and is the minority of drug takers.
People up and down the land every week, week in and week out take large amounts of drugs that make up the majority of users, they have no interest in robbing anybody. To suggest that death is what the deserve just because they go and have a good time is extreme and small minded.
Even to suggest all smash heads are the result of degeneracy is wrong. Many become smack heads through desperation of their plight in life, just as the majority of tramps resort to drink.
Report dustybin July 24, 2014 9:34 PM BST

Report dustybin July 24, 2014 9:38 PM BST
and to suggest that the working class can't afford to take drugs is laughable.
You can get off your head on a fiver, its the greedy corporate machine charging extremes for booze in bars in blatant opportunism that could be the cause of many starting with drugs in the first place

I remember turbos Venn, as well as rather laughingly 'ferraris' etc, doves double doves and the like.
Loved em and you never saw any trouble from pill heads, ok they did pols heads in but never violence or owt.

Over the years Ive heard a lot of condersention regarding drugs and there 'abuse' from many who never experienced em. Thats fine, everyone is entitled to their opinion, but drink isn't some saving grace its just the vice chosen for you. You can't compare the effects of drinks with drugs they are different. You might 'feel good' for a brief period on drink but it doesn't compare with dopamine endured euphoria, thats a real hard act to follow.
Its not without it's risks ofc. Other than the present issues that can sometimes lead to death there are longterm problems including parkinsons. The dopamine production in naturally regulated in the human, the feelings of well being are the by product of dopamine but ironically its actually a toxin that damages organs and hence is regulated. With drugs its produced in large amounts and floods the brain meaning the after effects are much like over regulation.
I never actually felt bad after, not like I did with alcohol anyway, but I was like a zombie feeling nothing and gaining little pleasure from stuff as the dopamine wasn't getting produced. It took maybe several weeks till I could say I was back to normal.
I often looked at it as being sections of the brain that when intoxicated made a fool of themselves by over production and after the event had to go sit on the naughty step 'oh god what did I get unpo last night' senario.

If it wasn't for parkinsons and the other direct problems Id walk around all day every day pilling my tits off.

Ultimately so long as they dont do anyone else any harm who really cares what they smoke swallow or inject.
