Wouldn't dispute for a second that the Racingpost forecast of 6/4 looked excessively skinny after the Brighton run but given a reproduction of the Leicester effort would be good enough to win most Chepstow maidens, I stand my observationsa that this horse being laid at over 7-1 represented an unusual drift. I see no evidence that it has been looked into by the stewards or the BHA so I guess it is time to lift up the edge of the carpet and brush it under to join all the other similar cases that are ignored in this sport.
