Easiest stewards of the year, that gets kicked out.
|
|
By:
They wont kick it out, in case you haven't realized but this is English racing where you can knock an horse clean through the rails and still get away with it.

horses never get thrown out over here...

the problem with this one is taht I never thought that hughes was getting his up to win on the outside, if supersta hadnt drifted then i think the result would have been the same, and thats what seems to count fo rthe stewards.

Stewards can't decide on what they think, they have to deal in facts.
Was there interference - YES Did the jockey make sufficient attempt to correct the horse - NO Where was the interference - From the 1f marker to the line Did the rider of the interfered horse have to stop riding - YES There was also intimidation, in that the winner never kept a straight line, and intimidation counts as interference. This will lose the race. This is way worse than Baraweez earlier in week and very similar to Bear Behind when he was kicked out at Musselburgh a year or so ago. This will get demoted. |

Told you it wouldn't be thrown out. the inconstancy in our stewarding is disgusting, I no longer wait for any stewards in those sort of races, no point.

Disappointed there, but that sort of stewards will give Brian Ellison excellent fuel for his appeal with Baraweez, as that horse should have never been kicked out and this done far worse.
Stewards in UK seem to have no consistency. |
