Willo absolutely spot imo on that racing pundits are guilty of lazy journalism spouting cliche after cliche, day after day.

For example WTF does ´carrying a lot of condition´ actually mean? - fat, unfit?

Quite alright mate, I think your point is entirely relevant......

Dont you think he picked a particularly stupid time to point this out though?
Anyone with half a clue knows it was a hell of a training performance to get that mare to run to that level in the Gold Cup off a rotten prep......
And he doesnt spare the wand when he's waxing lyrical about how 'shrewd' etc other people in the training game are after they've had a winner, he's as guilty as the rest......he wont tell you who's grossly under performing, despite being a big stats man & obviously having plenty of data to back it up.......

2. Mike De Kock - horrific preparation for Soft Falling Rain and Shea Shea came back coughing. Two diseased wrecks his only runners for the week is pretty embarrassing given his reputation for peaking them on the big day.

Personally I'd put in the Hannon team if they consciously decided to change tactics with a horse that won a Classic lto.
