perplexed this is 4/1 when it beat integral on champions day last year it was a lot shorter. Richard hughes did not mention it in his saturday RP column where he commented on all his rides which suggests she is not primed?, trainer has gone on record as saying she is big/stuffy and she has racecourse gallops?. What do we think she will off at? In my opinion she is best in  the race and has the fast ground she needs (hopefully no watering?)in essence she has optimum conditions/trip and its royal ascot so she is surely trying so a good thing? or is she peaking in november in HK? ffor what its worth I think fast ground has changed this from lay to back big time and reckon 5/2

the weight pentalty must be an issue ?

I think she's going to need the run and while she is very good, I don't think she's good enough to give weight all round. Certify ew for me at the prices.

Sky Lantern is clearly the best filly in the field BUT...

4yo fillies are notoriously unpredictable - especially on their seasonal debuts.

She ran well first time out last season though she was well beaten and today's 5lb penalty narrows her margin of superiority as there are a few (at the weights) who are within striking distance of an opponent that will surely be trained to peak with an Autumn campaign in mind.

Finally, this time last year, I recall Hughes stating he'd be confident she'd get 12f so a mile may well be too short for her nowadays as Hannon also stated he thought 10f may well be her optimum trip.

I'd be frightened to lay her at the price as she has a lot of ability (and I won't be surprised to see her class prevail) but I won't be backing her at any odds as there are too many questions - I'll probably have a stab at the O'Brien horse at 25/1 instead.
