I hope the stupid C**t dies tonight. As a keen racegoer I am totally sick of these young pi££ed up morons wrecking a day at the track.
The racecourses take the blame as well..for encouraging mentally subnormal people like him onto their premises.
Can you imagine the opera houses allowing p*££ed up morons spoiling it for their regular patrons?
I despair of the idiot younger generations, I really do.

They talk about banning him from all racecourses - do you think that will make any difference at all? These people don't do along for the love of racing; they go along for a day on the p1ss. A change of scenery from their local pubs and clubs.
The Knight, I know what you're saying about the younger generation but we're not all the same. I'm under 30 and despair of that sort of thing as much as anyone else. That's not to say I don't enjoy a couple of beers at the racing. But primarily, I'm there for the racing; one of my first loves.

The guy was stupid and beer is probably to blame, but to call the younger generation is totally wrong. We (us in our forties) must remember how things were in the eighties with our generation.

It was a very stupid thing to do but not unusual for young men with access to drink to be stupid. We are lucky it happens so rarely on racecourses. At football matches or in town centres it is normal.

To be fair to the bloke, he covered more ground than Wayne Rooney and I bet that he's not on £300k a week... Aimed a bit high on his debut, may have stood more of a chance in an All-Weather seller!!!

Exactly Joe don't want the bad PR this generates do we so throw him out naughty boy and ban him. Sets the standard. Bit like a National disaster in waiting. Have to say not unlikely another joker will do this and somebody will very sadly get hurt and we'll get the usual crap and justification after the event but who cares?

I'm sure some of the ex army types that run racing must know people who can handle a rifle.
just employ an ex soldier at each track with a sniper rifle and instructions to take out any drunk who endangers the lives of horses or jockeys. (could make a few exceptions as far as jockeys are concerned)

surprised the bha didn't make a few quid out of him in fines, failing to provide a sample post race and passport irregularities would have been easy enough to fleece him for a grand

To lazy to do the link, but Andrew Symonds nearly broke a pitch intruder in half a few seasons back in Oz. That's the way to go, the real shame is the rider on the near side rail who was well beat, didn't lash him with the whip as he went by.
Two more runs with someone like Jamie "The gaps just didn't appear" Spencer on his back, get a nice handicap mark and then bolt up at Southwell in January off a mark of 45!!
