That was a terrible ride. All he needed to do was take the rail position when he was clear and he would have won the race easily. It's elementary race riding.

I backed it and put a lay in running at 1.03 (it hit 1.06) so doubly disappointed but i doubt it ever got far enough in front of the eventual winner to move to the rails without taking it's ground.

That was pulling double going to the line - he didn't seem the slightest bit concerned that he was on the best horse but didn't win.

had the opportunity to go right 2 furlongs out and come between the winner and fruity but choose to sit and wait , then go up the left of the winner inside the final furlong and the gap closed late on .pillock
