6.50 start royal has won 16 out of 23 points but never runs well under rules - would you rather oppose it with marked man or theophrastus?

7.55 everyone is telling me that champagne rosie is a certainty - true: it has beaten double mead in a ptp this winter, but double mead is proven under rules and won this last year, in a place where course form is valuable

8.25 again everyone is telling me that utopian will win - but shrewd investment is suited by these shorter trips and is surely a danger?

your thoughts on these 3 races are most welcome..............

7.55 Double Mead was the fav last time I looked so not everybody thinks Champagne Rosie is a cert. I take your point about Double Mead being the one proven under rules, but Rosie has the pt win, gets weight and most importantly I suspect is 4 years younger.

true salmon, but 12yo is hardly ancient in the hunter chase world

ps
champagne rosie is 2.10
double mead is 2.40

I think it will stay, if it does it should beat these..but saying that, if Ben heir hit form, it would win a street...a big if though

ROSSMORE LAD in the 7.25 finished 2nd last time to...Start Royal, so the form has been boosted,
but that form is still not as strong as Foundry Lanes...

don't like the next race , 5 runners (two mythical)was looking to back rear gunner to place , was 2/1 but now 2.5 so that's out of the way now, might back it  to win with the possibity of foundry drifting in running allowing to get out of rear gunner with a free bet.rossmore would probably have beaten rear gunner hen upside two out at penshurst but you can never be sure.yep rear guinner back to lay small stakes for me.

Champagne Rosie's form is a bit in and out, but I'd always back Biddick against Dunn in a tight contest.

Having a place on Rear Gunner in the next as price looks big to me.

Champagne Rosie is a horse I've seen a lot of and she is talented/frustrating at times. Hopefully we see the best of her tonight.

Reported on Twitter by Charlotte Davis  that Champagne Rosie sprung a rib when she was  jumped into during the race.

" she came back in with a lump the size of a small football. She was very uncomfortable and in a fair amount of pain. Fontwell were fantastic and she received veterinary attention almost as soon as she got back to the stables"
