enjoy the forum but hardly ever post
I have a question, any help would be much appreciated...
I bought a picture in a charity shop today of Desert Orchid jumping a fence and it's the horse behind him i'm after the name of...
It's a chestnut and it's colours are green with white stars (or light pink stars)
I think the jock on Dessie is Simon Sherwood ( he's got a big nose!)
Any ideas who might be chasing Dessie in those colours in the Simon Sherwood era?

It might be Barton Bank? Someone with access to Dessies runs will help
having looked at their careers barton bank was too late
after a bit of research

It is the 1989 Gold Cup, so Charter Party would fit, but I don't have a racecard to check.

I just checked Charter Party's gold cup win on youtube and wasn't the right colours then. Mould wasn't owner at time of races looking on RP site.
It's Charter Party. Changed colours between 88 and 89 Gold Cups.
Could be Forgive 'n Forget who if memory serves was a chestnut, and silks were green with white stars.

Forgive n'Forget raced in Yellow with orange spots ....... deffo , I backed it enough times to remember.

No, actually Yahoo is in front but on the far side. I am in the crowd aged 19 with my head in my hands. I backed Ten Plus.
