I was wondering if any of you guys (or Gals) could help me..

I've followed the career of a trainer called Brian Rothwell for years.

He mainly had lower grade horse & struggled for winners (...after a promising start which earned him the nickmane of the Double Carpet king !!)

I believe he returned to Ireland to assist Aiden O'Brian when the winners dried up..BUT..he appears to have returned to UK. (and had a few placed horses over the past week or so)

However...The thing I don't quiet understand is that he appears to have a runner in the first a Beverley on Monday, but it's down as being trained by B.S.Rothwell, where as the runners of the past week or so were listed as trained by B.Rothwell.

Does anyone know if B.Rothwell..B.S.Rothwell..and Brian Rothwell are in fact the same person...they certainly seem to use the same jockeys!

Thanks for an info.

Racing post entries for the next few days shows Alfie Bond trained by Brian Rothwell...as were Petergate, Tinseltown & Tell me when over the past week or so.
The thing I don't understand is that Alfie Bond is entered as trained by B.S.Rothwell...where as the others were listed as B.Rothwell.
If you search for B.Rothwell entries, you will not find any runners this week...nor will you find any previous runner form or mention of the horses above.
Just seems odd to me that a trainer can enter horses under various names ??
