There are usually positions for 74 Tatts bookmakers at Uttoxeter. This was reduced to 50 for the concert. Only 30 turned up. I think that answers your questions as to how lucrative bookmaking is when there are music nights on.
For info, I didn't work, I just went to observe and the concert area was rammed well before the last race, which just proves that at £30 entrance and £4 a beer, there is not much left in the entertainment pound to spend on betting. 40% of pitches empty - Says a lot really. |
