Recently he has been reporting decent bets he has placed which are hard to believe that any punter can get on with a high street bookmaker.
This week he got £250 EW on an 8/1 shot.
A cynic could be very suspicious about this pattern.
I know of no other tipster/presenter who talks about how much he/she has bet.
One view wrote 'Good to see bookmakers laying a decent bet and silencing those who say they are banned or heavily restricted'. Wonder what our two You Tube friends make of it.

blokes a complete numbskull...ask him about his biggest ever bet on last years jockey championship £6000 down the armitage shanks..good punter eh...get it ready richard birch..no wonder they take your lumpy bets that help silence those who are banned or restricted..its because they dent their profits not because they enhance them

As a friend, can you confirm that he gets "special" privileges from bookmakers as a RP employee, or is it because he is a really bad gambler, as his Pricewise Extra record shows ? On my stats, he's 85th out of 89, with a ROI of -27.75% ! |

Not aware of any special privileges. He has never mentioned them.
I think they are a thing of the distant past. I can't imagine Ralph Topping (Whill, CEO) agreeing to privileges. |

"Another not generally known issue is the convention that certain 'insider' racing journalists, expect and get preferential odds on certain ante-post events in exchange for positive publicity for the major bookmakers which provide these opportunities." I don't believe for a second that it's only confined to ante-post events. |
