I'm sure there will have been cost savings involved when they set up the new team. Francome, Mccririck etc., will have been on decent salaries and of course they will have had to pay a premium to acquire Ms Balding.

Just pointing out that it's the focal point for today's coverage because the bookie who runs it is also the main sponsor of the races and those races are not the most keenly anticipated all year.
I think Bet365 sponsor next week and following week is Guineas week - will still be some focus on Scoop 6 if it is not won in the meantime but the racing more likely to stand up on its own merits.

You have omitted to mention the worst presenter of racing on any channel,namely SEAN BOYCE.His garbling and murmuring take some beating.Presents as if he is in a hurry to catch a train,and finishes up murmuring.His diction rates a zero!
If he was on channel 4 he would no doubt have got an honourable mention
