I'd agree re the likes of Windsor, bath and Yarmouth. But can't besmirch the whole of Flat racing with these examples. What about the glorious racing at Newmarket, Ascot, Goodwood, etc.

It's like comparing, Bangor, towcester and Leicester with Cheltenham, Sandown, Aintree !

You mean there's a difference between summer jumping and 90% of winter jumping?

summer jumping is better than watching 15 runner handicaps at redcar and yarmouth, its horrible !

Presumably you don't watch it. So there isn't a problem then.

Flat racing is boring. Your best horses get four or if you are lucky five spins on the track and just as you begin to appreciate them they spend the rest of their lives shaggging. That isn't racing. It's selective delayed breeding. Awful stuff. After Punchestown roll on the Autumn when we will welcome back old friends and prepare to celebrate some new ones.

You can get plenty of good  betting opportunities from Class 1-2 handicaps at Group 1 tracks . These horses run numerous times.

It's not just about group horses / pattern races on the flat

Aye the jumps are great are they not, slow horses plodding round(if your lucky), or falling knackered at the last, on a bog of watered ground. Great fun, what a spectacle, can't wait till next Autumn.
