I believe he is a proper old school (Racing) Journalist............including being a fully paid up member of all the Wine Bars around Fleet Street of old

This would be the same guy who when asked to write a full spread piece for the RP promoting FOBT's and virtual racing thus driving millions of pounds away from real racing dutifully went right ahead and did it. He did not even have the decency to write the piece so that if accurately reflected reality in the sense that he lost x pence in the pound on the day. Instead he gloated about how much money he had won on the day playing these wealth traps. It is hard to find a single member of the journalistic fraternity that does not put him or herself above even the sport they are supposed to love.
