The 5.6 bot will probably beat the 5.5 available (imo)

if you lay the £11 you would have an exposure of 9/2 for whatever notional. So assuming you laid the lot you would have an exposure of 9/2 * £11 = £49.50. If the selection loses and your lay wins you would win the £11 minus commission.

No problem, good luck, in most cases it there were fewer layers than backers on betfair as that had been traditionally how people had bet selections. Be careful though as some of betfairs rules and reg's appear to be more favorable to backers for instance application of reduction factors in horse racing. Sure you will pick these up as you go.

reduction factors favour layers not backers

Very much depends Delta.

correction then...
reduction factor intentions are to favour layers not backers |

By:
might be helpful if you tick 'confirm bets before placing' so you can double-check before you click the bet.

You will never get laid first time because the Bots will steal it off you.

villa fan is spot on ..perhaps betfair could have 2 markets one for bots
and one for genuine backers / layers ...only a thought |

the reduction factors dont apply to low % runners so if you lay all runners they generally work against you.
