Another losing day Thursday, more abuse warranted.

Friday the clock says

1.30 GUITAR PETE e-w
2.40 CAPTAIN CUTTER e-w
3.20 SILVINACO CONTI e-w and TRIO D`ALENE e-w

Backed Trio at a big price need it in the frame to make a profit at the meeting.

Don't fancy any Nichols hosses (not firing ) even though they look a million dollars in the parade ring

My back and lay are in the same race! Backed Harbour Court and layed Oscar Delta. Could be a double whammy for me if the gods reverse the Mangan's luck!

I too like harbour court and have been backing him for a while. Think if bobs worth stays up he wins the gold cup also.

Tony Martin has been a bit quiet. Wonder which of his handicappers will win, Thomas Edison or Savello?

Claret Cloak 5:15 has won four out of five when the going was good or faster. His only defeat on similar going was last time out in the Henry VIII Grade 1 Novice Chase at Kempton and it makes him look absolutely chucked in off 142. He was only ten lengths behind the winner Hinterland but closer to Grandouet and Taquin De Seul with 12 lengths back to Balder Success and a further eight back to Manyriverstocross who ran a very solid race here earlier in the week.
