He shouldn't have lost, he completely messed up by going inside/outside and then trying to go between horses, ruby completely fecked it up he should be sour faced the Jonah faced kant.

I'd say they guaranteed Ricci they'd win that if they swerved the CH. Maybe he's thinking of that.

Why, should he be pleased when he loses?

Day after day on this place we get threads about jockeys not trying. Now we get one about a jockey being p*ssed off about not winning.

He worries too much about others rather than riding his own race as his own father Ted said they all should this morn. Cost Hurricane Fly the champion a few yrs ago by watching Binocular, by the time he realised that was the wrong one it was all over, you would think he would have learn't from that but jockeys never do, they are all brain dead to a tee.

You're absolutely right. If he ever sorts that out, he might become a decent jockey. Ruby may even be able to bag himself a Cheltenham winner at some point...

Yet again, more armchair jocks spouting nonsense.

Best horse on the day won, nothing wrong with the ride Ruby gave her. I didn't back Annie power but if I did I would rather Ruby looked like that than having a laugh and a joke.

Most winning jockey get's abuse of people who don't understand race riding.....  they're making split second decisions through out the race... pocket talkers indeed !

As said above, dementia has it right. Nothing wrong with being upset if you lose but he does come across as a bit of a spoilt child sometimes. Then again he's judged on how good a jockey he is rather than how he is as a person. Think we all know what he thinks of punters in general. Maybe he wants to have a look at how Johnny Murtagh carries himself. Top of his profession and always comes across well.

I'm sure Ruby will be having a sleepless night if he was to read thread written by a bunch of bitter and twisted nobodies.

His job is to ride winners not to be the most likeable bloke in the world.  If you don't like like him, I'm sure he won't mind.

Get over it.

didnt even think there was any doubt that the best horse won.......i must have watched a different race to some on here....one thing though ........think willie mullins messed up...........she should have run in the champion hurdle

Couldn't agree more ... now seems like a bad decision to take on an unknown distance against what could happen with Big Bucks (win or lose)and other in depth unknowns (provided winner)... having said that, she might have won to spite but I still cannot believe the seemingly flash plus conceited ride that she was given ... show me a boat and I'll show you a paddler. I hope more is learnt for her next engagements.

I thought he rode a nice race on a horse that like at Doncaster got very lit up prior to the off. He switched her off lovely. People should be careful not to take away the sheen from the winners performance. Coming some way clear of the third he gave Annie half a stone and he'd only ever seen a racecourse four times. That is some horse. Take him out of the race ad people would be falling over themselves to eulogise Ruby.
