Got to ask why he gave him the job , possibly the worst jump jockey i have ever seen . No confidence given to horse jumping a fence and no tactical brain whatsoever ?

Strange choice IMHO

Be amazed if he's stable jockey next year.

wonder if the lack of a top jock at the stable led to wonderful charm being run over the wrong trip

What I've noticed many times this season is the amount of times he's cruised up on a Nicholls fancied runner then found nothing - it was almost done & dusted when Walsh was on them but to be fair, Jacob's had a hard act to follow - that said, he's not one of my favourites but up to now, his booking doesn't actually deter me from backing his mounts.

the horse was hampered at a crucial stage and ran on, not much more to be said surely

Just realised I'm on Southfield Theatre at 25/1 in the next with Jacob up...I might be calling him a few names if he nails Jetson as I've got that in bet with Taquin Du Seuil and I'd prefer that to win.

i like jetson but the stats say he's too high in the weights, agree jacobs just doesn't give you that confidence that you had with ruby. glad he's not riding big bucks

Macca - thanks squire...I need it!
I forgot to mention that there's also Shangani & There's No Panic in that bet as well...it's a hopeful £1 E/W L15 but nevertheless a nice start with an 8/1 winner Happy

Couldn't have ended worse for me...short-headed due to a jinx of a ballsac on top (I've changed my mind now) and Jetson 5th when I backed it with those shíthouses Hill's Cry

I can't remember getting a winner from Jacob that gave a decent return - some jockeys are just jinxes for you though the odd one helps out with a few favours over the years...that's how the dice roll sometimes Sad

Regardless of DJ can't understand why Nicholls didn't get Noel Fehily as stable jock, great rider and brilliant record for Nicholls.

I can never work out what's happening with the Nicholls' jockey bookings when there are three in a race Confused
