...and backed Big Buck's instead. I think Annie Power has the potential to be the best ever, but it's an insult to the current best hurdler of all-time that he's trading at over 4/1. He'll love the ground, will have improved for his last performance, and Nicholls will have thrown the kitchen sink at him to have him ready. And to be honest, I would rather see Big Buck's win than Annie Power - I've followed the horse his whole career, he's won me big money and he's probably my favourite horse ever; here's hoping he goes down on his sword, win or lose.

Good luck I've layed BB but would love to see him win, backed it every year he won. PN really put me off yesterday when he said 'I've got him to the best he can be'

I've never heard Nicholls as bullish about a horse as he has been about Big Buck's - if you read his blog on here, I've never heard him confident about anything. Yet, he's been saying for weeks that Big Buck's is his best chance and that he's as good as ever. The thing that worries me is that, even if he is as good as ever, is that good enough to beat Annie Power

Because he would say he's got his old zest back or he's somewhere near his best but the best I can get him is lacking something and with Annie power getting 7lbs he needs to be somewhere near his best, mullins other mare two years getting 7lbs gave BB a race and I think AP is miles in front of that one.
