Perhaps because horse is by Invincible Spirit and therefore not bred to get anywhere near 2 miles on bad ground. Held up to try and get the trip but nothing left when let down. What do you want the bloke to do pick it up and carry it up the hill?

Not AP's department but breeding is not an exact science you don't know until you try.

Thanks rcing I am normally to busy trying to make a few bob to bother posting however these people who talk through their pockets and think they know more about the game than people who have been in it all their lives ie AP get under my skin.

Rayak is by Invincible Spirt who was a miler who was by Green Desert who was a miler who loved fast ground. It was therefore no great surprise that the horse did not get up the hill on this ground. However to the people who backed it, probably because AP was up, it is all his fault.

Never mind perhaps they will get to me again in another few years and I will post again.

It seems that I am flogging a dead horse just like AP would have been.
