Is Barney at it again? Also massive move for Vitznau in the last at kempton - wasn't that with John Butler/Barney for a while? If we can just find the other 2 he's connected to we'll be quids in.

It could just as easily be the books being smart arses and contracting their prices to make it appear like another coup in order to recover some of their loses. I seem to remember them doing this previously.

No, surely not - really? No i simply don't believe that bookies have ever artificially messed with the price of a Curly horse to make it appear something is happening when it isn't my flabber is well and truly ghasted!

Nice reply Geoff M. I thought your spelling was a bit ropey until I realised what you were up to. Very clever.

Because dear boy it's happened more than the odd time since the 70's -  it's also why bookies (in the days before accountants ran the show) let it happen for so long (think about it) which is why he now (has to) combine the horses in multiples.

Giant Suquoia won nicely in Ireland a few years back on G/F. Travelled  really well for a long in a 3m hdl 2 runs back. Hard to see him at best on Heavy though this is a very bad race..

Curley said: "I don't think I will be renewing my licence this time as I have sold most of the horses and have just two left and I am waiting on people to come and see them this week. The buzz has gone from the game and I haven't had a bet since that day in 2010 as I would be putting in just as much effort to make only a half of one percent of the money we made that time."

He was sad to see the departure of his longtime assistant Stringer, who took the reigns at the yard for a spell in 2008. Curley added: "I have been very loyal to Andrew over the years and him to me. He has joined James Tate and I wish him well."

early money probably a handful of guessers and bookies taking no chances. latest movement would suggest this thing is either pulled up or tailed off.
