Have Betfair stopped old site for horse racing today?  Was happily using old site in UK yesterday, but when I went into horse racing to look at tomorrows cards whilst overseas (Germany) today, the link to switch to old site has disappeared!  Please tell me this is a non-UK thing and we can still access old site for horse racing in UK!!!

NOBODY would STILL be here, answering your thread .... If -

Betfair had Switched OFF the 'Old' - or as they now - EVENTUALLY - and condescendingly - say "Classic Site".

There would be an instant Overnight Exit from this Site, were they ever to be so short-sighted.

Using the correct URL takes you directly to the original site thereby doing away with any need to switch.

Hello KC - I used to be a very active forum contributor in the early years of the site on horse racing!  Stats must be wrong over 13 years, but probably correct over 5 years as whilst I am still a very active BF user, I have rarely posted on the "community" in recent years.  In the early days, I used to be the first to post the Pricewise selections on the forum for my sins!!!

Apologies if I am being a bit thick here, but what is the correct URL for the "classic" site?

Not J K Rozel!  Sorry not used forum much in recent years - anyone know what happened to JKR?

Many thanks KC.  Obviously BF do not want overseas users to know about the old version we all know and love so much!  Had sudden panic when I logged in here in Munich that I would need to re-write my trading software ahead of Cheltenham with no warning from BF that they had ditched the "classic" site.  I hate the new site with a total passion!

maybe too much wiessbier, but I'm still sure it was J K Rozel.  Maybe the chief wizard writer was a PW arber to make ends meet in the early days!

He bought the RP at midnight at Kings Cross Station.
A "good egg" whatever his reasons.

The Forum "Stats" shown - are ONLY from when this NEW Forum was created - and superseded tho former forum - about, as you say, "five years ago." -
-  Tallying, therefore, with your assessment and statement.
