Contrived to get himself boxed in on the rail on the run-in. When your confidence is rock bottom, nothing goes right.
But what a desperately disappointing turnout for a race regarded in the past as a trial for the World Hurdle. A 28k prize won by a 130-rated horse -- all credit to the Fontwell executive for putting up that sort of prize-money for a Grade 2, but they must be feeling a bit sick. |
