ATR has been atrocious today.  Every minute devoted to Cattermole at Lingfield, and Boyce didn't even know that the first race at Newcastle was on.  No shows for this novice chase and only got them for the Chepstow 3m hurdle because of the false start.  The sooner this filthy despicable channel is off the air then the happier I will be!

If ATR offered a service that was the same behind "live" as RUK (1.0 second) for the same money, there would still be bleating ponces on here screaming it was too much, imo.

I don't have any problems betting in-running on ATR tracks.

That would indicate that you do not bet off ATR,Aces.

^ if you play with half a mile to go then maybe, but in terms of trading out late, a furlong out and the race is over

It is never an advantage to be 7.0 seconds behind "live action",imo.

racingstar maybe I have misunderstood as I was going off the subject of the OP's post. To clarify: I play in-running  on all the ATR tracks using BLV. However, I have never, ever, traded in-running.

You will still be 2.0 seconds behind what is actually happening,Aces.
No problem if you are in or out by the two pole.

racingstar I have found my own way of playing, as have a lot on here. I actually find Kempton all weather a lot harder than most of the ATR tracks.

Had RUK on phone and was standing at final hurdle at kempton today. Hardly any delay at all. Less than I would have expected. You can see the ATR delay more clearly when it is on screen next to SIS

You would do,Aces.
There is far less Liquidity on the Kempton AW and the Course is "flooded" with In Running Box Players.
I would wager that you do not have any problems on the same Course with NH Racing.

Ditto. I can barely make Kempton AW pay - though I think some of that might be because most of the AW meets are night and it's so badly lit that my reaction puts me way behind the market.

I have another theory about Kempton AW. First of all I don't have any problems at the other other English AW tracks and I imagine they must have plenty of track players, as well as a bigger delay.
I think it's more to do with the siting of the cameras at Kempton - a fair chunk of each race is head on so you cannot tell how close, or far away, the horses are to each other - unless of course you take notice of the commentator Laugh

atr have a big red 'live' in the corner of the screen during the race, that has got to be in conflict with the trades description act.
