14 Feb 14 19:58 evening giggsy....still playing the placepots ? Only the aw,a lot of these meetings are begging to be done the races are so poor.No greg never look at the jumps anymore, stick to the aw meetings take 20 mins lots of small divis but even if you just get even money for your stake it's still great value.. |

The more of those straight lines the better, keeps the smaller divis up!
By:
I agree especially when the straight lines are top heavy with favs.
By:
It's exactly why these aw placepots are paying £30-£50 when they should be paying a £10 fantastic value even doing a combination of smaller and bigger perms..

I'd be happy with 1/2 if I have 10grand on...

BUT YOU ONLY HAVING 10P ON !!!!

By:
Possibly 3000 lines at 10p,but that would only be one perm..

Non of them straight line mugs bets up today..
By:
gigs..........60 per cent of placepots slips are straight lines........
By:
That's the beauty of them even after all this time, punters still doing the same old things..
By:
i know 1 punter who does straight lines has not had a placepot up for over a year........
By:
Still the best value bet but problem is during the summer there's just so many meetings and ground changes,i only do them on the aw now I don't do most of the placepots looking at big divis I just base them on the form.If if I think 4/5 favs are more likely to be placed i'll then have several perms incresasing stakes as the perms get smaller, todays was very good but even earlier in week the smaller divis like the one yesterday were ok for results..

I was thinking of looking at the Dundalk meetings but can't get enthusiastic about learning all the new horses and times at the track,i'm sure there must be just as much value floating around as the aw tracks here,it's just getting the time to do it all.
