the horses form is simply not good enough for a lincoln horse and probaly wont run this year as the race is less than 2 months away

That's correct he won on his racecourse debut at Southwell. Strangely for a horse who's sires (elnandim) offspring have won 16 of their 107 races at the track. Trainer clearly been getting Mitchum very well handicapped before he makes his long awaited return to his optimum racetrack, the Southwell fibresand.
