A well campaigned horse early in its career and then went to cheltenham off 124 but ran into some improvers and in a red hot race.
Good handicap form at sandown since and then a unlucky runner at wincanton lto.
So the question is, would you think this horse needs a big hike in the handicapping or will the new rules allow 120-ish horses into the pertemps final ?

Got one of the worst rides you would see at Sandown two runs back.
I see the problem here. You have asked a very worthy question on a horse racing forum and nobody seems to be responding.
Now had you started a topic on account closures, jockey bashing or even Rachel Riley, then you would've been inundated with replies by now.

qualifying rules, have to finish in the first 8 in the rounds i think.
ie Buena Vista would never had got into the race

My thinking was that if he had to win well today, he wouldnt get that strangle ride that connections have been doing. Sort of asking, do you think he will really go all out for the win.
At the end of the day, i got lucky, no other jockey would had won on him.
