Shocking.

Will obviously win a big handicap at double figures.

Wonder what the pull was about coming to the last??

Backed it so seeeething, but what a pr!ck of a ride.
Report thebluemax January 25, 2014 3:37 PM GMT
Not very subtle was it

this jockey is starting too get embarresing why has he not been banned , look at his ride on
Mullaghanoe River  2.15 he is standing straight legged poking his ar-se in the air !
looked at him approaching the fences again straight legged , loosing 3 or 4 lengths at each fence , he gets away with murder , he blatently cheats , give him a 6 month ban !
Report geos1 January 26, 2014 12:07 PM GMT
he is still the most talented jockey in racing though
Report Glossy January 26, 2014 12:08 PM GMT
One of the great myths of NH racing, that.
Report geos1 January 26, 2014 12:13 PM GMT
naah the guy is fantastic, used to be able to drink all night, have 1/2 hour sleep, get to the races 5 mins before the start and still ride a treble
Report Eeternaloptimist January 26, 2014 12:19 PM GMT
That doesn't prove his ability. Just his ability to operate under the influence. He's a good old fashioned horseman the type to have on your side in something like a national. A better version of someone like Jim Culloty but his best days are behind him.

"Pauls talent is unbelievable.Of all the jump jockeys i've used including Norman Williamson,Adrian Maguire,McCoy,
Ruby Walsh the lot, based on natural ability and natural talent to see a stride ,Paul Carberry had more than the lot of them combined."
HOWARD JOHNSON

"Without a doubt the most gifted jockey in racing.Nobody, and I mean nobody has more ability than him.He has the full package,an incredible racing brain, fantastic balance and more bottle than Hughes Dairies".
FERDY MURPHY
Report geoff m January 26, 2014 12:37 PM GMT
pity his brain doesnt function in line with his natural talent.
Report Eeternaloptimist January 26, 2014 12:40 PM GMT
I wouldn't advertise recommendations from Ferdy and Howard on a thread complaining about Carberry being on the fiddle. Laugh

He was a great success in England though!! Hes a has been. One trick pony now.Models himself on Frank Spencer, tactically inept
Report bigmart January 26, 2014 5:19 PM GMT
look at him and choc thornton over fences , they go straight legged in the fence hands straight easing the horses up loosing 2 13 lengths every race , bottle merchants not riding into fences .
Report differentdrum January 26, 2014 8:30 PM GMT
He wasn't very clever on Moonshine Lad either. AP just stacked them up and as usual he just sat in behind not jumping very well on a horse who had lead 4 out when he won his point-to-point.
Report tashkent terror January 26, 2014 8:55 PM GMT
He's a class act...just watch a couple of replays from big races gone by.

Crackaway Jack (Fred Winter), Bellvano(Grand Annual), Monbeg Dude (Welsh National) etc,etc...

I could watch them back all day long if I didn't have to go to work...i'll also add Knockara Beau yesterday to that list HappyHappy

Report bigmart January 26, 2014 9:20 PM GMT
fk you know all oh I forgot your a pro , eh a pro kn-b , I show my face you hyde enough said , he does not get the best performace out off horses over fences fact kn-obby
Report bigmart January 26, 2014 9:27 PM GMT
have a look at his ride on this horse Mullaghanoe River  2.15 yest , a bairn with a biscuit arse could have given it a better ride , coasting up to fences as if its a picnic day out , he lost a champion hurdle with his over confidence stand up poking  arse in the air superlative confidence , total fa--nny maybe that's why you like him !
Report racingstar January 26, 2014 9:34 PM GMT
Yes,the most winning NH Jockey of all time does not know how to present a horse at a fence.
Is there no limit to your utter stupidity?
Report bigmart January 26, 2014 9:47 PM GMT
he is a has been , drink and other probs , what diff does it make what he done in the past , I am talking now , how much slavering can one do , look at that ride and tell me he is a champion now ! more slavering that a poachers dog !
hey racing star I used too sh--g 3 gorgeous girls aged 21 does that mean am still the best ride around , its like saying a guy who has won more races , over a decade is still the best now pmsl , he has had his day , look at the rides then say your hero is champ
that ride yest was a disgrace boarder line embarrassing ! look at him slowing the horse up approaching the fences , like a nervous kid on a pony , so you can take your hero history book and shove it up your a--ss that was then here is  now ! maybe he cant take a drink anymore before racing , no bottle anymore sad but not the same jockey he once was fact .
Report racingstar January 26, 2014 9:54 PM GMT
Mart,
You seriously need psychiatric help.
You recently posted about a poor ride from a certain Jockey.
Unfortunately, for you,it was the Trainer you named.

Mart,
Unlike your good self I have never found the need to tell all and sundry how much I make.
Nor do I mention what car I drive (with or without the help of a page three girlfriend.

By the way,Mart,it is hardly the worst kept secret in horse racing that AP is Teetotal.

Mart,
After reading reams of bullshat from you my brain has suffered damage (hopefully not irreparable).
Can you desist from any more "tall tales" for a while?
Report bigmart January 26, 2014 10:52 PM GMT
that the thing they are not tales , u just cannot handle the fact , some people have a life , u don't ,
try living for a while , u might get an insight into how much fun life can be , then u can set the blue print and tell tales off your adventures , but wee tip learn too admitte when u are wrong , everyman and their dog could  see that ride he gave that horse yest was shocking , gutless and timid , horse and man working together , so when he coats up too the fences like a bird too flight for the 1st time , alas he looses lengths at his fences , its close between him and choc thornton who are the biggest bottlers , over fences , both pathetic apart from the odd one , so can u give an insight into his timid jaunt yest or u gonna go bring up some other subject , u seam too do that when u cannot answer ? LaughLaugh
Report racingstar January 26, 2014 10:59 PM GMT
Mart,
Carberry may be many things but,a "Bottler" he never is.
He has given some "suspect" rides lately but lack of bottle is certainly not the reason.
Due to the lack of racing I have posted far more frequently than usual.
I wonder how you manage to fit in all your "achievements" in life and post on here constantly.
Report bigmart January 26, 2014 11:50 PM GMT
why cd u not have said that instead off all the crap racing star ? ok lets bury the hatchet , but next time am right just addmitte it LaughLaugh
