just so everyone knows - you should never put a free bet on a 2-1 chance

£25 bet

2-1 wins 33% of the time so £50 x .33 = £16.6 profit

9-1 wins 10% of the time so £225 x .1 = £22.5 profit

some folk have put 80+ bets on this offer in the shops, if they mess up the EV from the free bets they might as well not have bothered.

It was indeed the dealer, Ladcrooks did exactly the same on a channel 4 race, I can't recall which race it was but they touted it as money back if loser which wasn't the case. It was money back as a free bet, stake not included.

Apols wasn't aware of this. his tone and constant using of the word I as if it were a sign of validation seem to indicate some need to appear the authority in a lot of his posts.
