I'm going to lay the fav as i think WYW and Bollin Judith have a chance . The latter ran in a bumper here carrying 29lb more than today BUT it's got to carry Spencer today which must be equivalent to another four stone!!

it didn't carry an extra 29lbs, flat ratings are different to jumps.

112 is a lowly jump rating, akin to 65 on the flat.

according to flat ratings bollin is 7lbs well in.  but will they go enough of a pace for the stamina to kick in?  was outpaced by jumps plodders in the bumper at the finish.  la estrella and while you wait have 12-14f flat speed.

DOH! I know that - but are you really trying to tell me that 10st 12lb is NOT 29lb more than 8st 11lb?

but its a completely different race.  the other horses in the bumper carried 10st 12lbs.  other horses here carry 9st 10lbs tops.

Yes,I understand handicapping. I was trying to make two points (flippantly):
1. Has run over track and trip carrying a lot more weight so it might feel like it's having a bit of a holiday today
2. This would be more than offset by having to carry Spencer around.

Did show a lot of heart however I think the jockeys were the main difference in the result.
