Huntingdon to Market Rasen 96 miles. Huntingdon to Kempton Park 90 miles - no brainer !!!!

suppose it depends if you live halfway between rasperry and hunt or halfway between hunt and kemp,
if its the former that makes it 48 miles to rasperry and 138 to kemp,no brainer !!!!!
unless you think only people who live in hunt go to hunt, !!!!

As i have only the two pitches there plus Wetherby, Market Rasen and Towcester i am having the day off to fulfil grandfather duties and i am leaving the troops in charge so i wont see you there but Good Luck for the day and also for next year and beyond. Ditto everyone else on track.

Spot on foxy - not worth considering for those plying their trade at either track. Any organised coach parties might need to consider alternative arrangements but how many of those there are is anybody's guess.

democrat I don't think theres many coach parties boxing day,i was going to huntingdon but looking at the runners after the non runners due to the going change and the non runners due to the 7 with preferred engagements elsewhere I don't think its the end of the world,i do feel sorry for the course they had sold out all the restaurants and hospitality I realise they will be insured but the long term effect isn't good people will find other things to do in the future.at least bj will have plenty of extra staff at towcester now.

Still haven't lost your chance foxy. The price might be more attractive now. It is ironic that Huntingdon sometimes abandon because of conditions elsewhere i.e remote water levels rising. Are there any other courses like this ?

Worcester,stratford and southwell have all been totally submerged in the last 30 years.bangor also suffers from the dee,fontwell and plumpton are often flooded but those two courses just issue snorkels.

anyone considering market rasen...my tats pitch will be vacant if that helps someone get on.

p.s. it will also be vacant on jan 16th , feb 4th , feb 16th and march 9th.
