Oscar Whiskey did well I felt on his chase debut, against a race fit TDS. Nickys weren't firing like they are now, and plenty have come on from there first run. I think WC will struggle to give him 8lbs.

That was a disgraceful charade of a race. Oscar Whiskey was allowed around 7 lengths start over the others, so of course it had an advantage!

Can you imagine that sort of utter nonsense being allowed in athletics or swimming, for example?

Totally farcical. The starter especially and OW's jockey should both be severely reprimanded, if not suspended.

No wonder there's a significant public perception of racing being crooked.

happens all the time, horses jump off quick/slow, then other horses close up - made no difference  to result as was a sprint 2f out

How can you reprimand and suspend a jockey when the tapes have gone up and the starter has let them go?

Presumably too from the way the jockeys on the other runners lined up the 2nd was happy to get a lead and the rest knew that they would be having their own private race for 3rd, which the finishing distances went on to show.
