William Buick just gave The Fugue an absolute shocker of a ride, let it get shuffled back through the field into a terrible position then had to pull 4 wide to get a run and the winner had flown. Certain winner if Buick wasnt so incompetent on her. Such a shame for this admirable, brilliant filly who was by far the best horse in the race and deserved to win!

No He just didnt have the experience the locals of Sha Tin had I suppose, but all the way through that race you could see what was going to happen. Buick never seen it coming though. He had to hold a more prominent position, The Fugue has the pace to do so.

He was in tears in America and he has everyone in tears in Hong Kong. That was totally inept! I set my alarm on a Sunday morning lose beauty sleep to see him get a horse imo a stone better than the opposition go from a good position to having to literally rag the horse around the field losing 5-6 lengths in process to come second. Angry is not the word!!!!

Different jockey = not unlucky. He's the pooret of the so called top jockeys, by a considerable distance, but, as opposed to The Fuque, he's got lucky, to get the job he has.
