Little doubt that there shrewd money anticipating a poor display or dreadful jumping (it was a chasing debut) because the price drifted as if "you can back it at whatever price you like, we know we'll keep your money".
Disgusting chain of events ... but I doubt Paul Nicholls will have the guts to give any public explanation, either within his contract here at Betfair or to the racing media in general. |

Yes I'm sure that Nicholls will send his second jockey to ride a horse that cannot jump a fence or do you think the market was just adjusting it's chance.

If there's a market "adjusting" to the horse's chance, how come almost the entire adjustment here happened in just the last couple of minutes before the off ? !! ... that was much more a case of "we know it can't win" rather than an "adjustment".
