My 6 year old was watching a programme with his mum when a lady was bitten and treated for a mosquito bite. His mum told him in some places people are bitten but dont have medicine to help them, to which my wee guy replied "I want to help them get medicine after they drink dirty water".We didnt think anymore of it until he woke up one morning saying he wanted to walk over the bridge for charity, the bridge being The Forth Road Bridge. So this Friday he will walk the 3 miles to raise money for children in need. While the 3 miles is not going to test his endurance, I think at 6 his initiative and willingness to help others should be recognised so if you happen to win a few quid today or want to give anyway it will be much appreciated. Here is the link ....
