Saphir Deu Reu, Merehead off a really good hurdles mark, 1833, unioniste it seems a lot of his horses are not in great form. I really want to have a good bet on Rocky Creek in the Hennessy or Al Ferof at Ascot but I am worried that a lot of nicholls horses arnt finishing there races let alone troubling the judge. Any thoughts.

You either have a "view" STS or not.
You cannot have it both ways.
I can see nothing wrong with the Yard Form other than not having the "fire power" of old.

Dont seem to be firing on all cylinders so far this season .  Not a big person for statistics myself , but a bit of research might show up a trend .

i thought unioniste ran a good race.

Last week everyone was saying McCain was out of form then he fired in 5 or 6 winners over the weekend. Nicholls yard isn't out of form. Fact

Don't tell me they have as many winners this time of year as say 3 years ago

The balance of "power" constantly changes in horse racing.
It was ever thus.

22% strike rate isnt that bad.

GI just because you said it a fact doesn't make it so. Another few horses who ran a shockers were Fago, Ulick du lin, Mon Parrain, Edgrado Sol and Vide Cave. They are defo out of form have to keep a watching brief until things improve or something is gambled on coz nicholls can turn pulled up horses on there lat start to winners.

Last two runners resulting in Grade 1 & 2 winners not really indicating any kind of panic.6/29 so far in November as opposed to 8/28 for the same period last season, but that period had far more market leaders.

Not out of form, more that a couple are maybe needing the run perhaps.

Lets be honest he has had a few big winners e.g. rolling aces. But I wonder if there is something not quite right with a lot of his string. I don't mind his win ratio so much but some of the horses that havent been performing rare running nowhere near there merit.

Merehead was running off 115 with a 3lb claimer he has form with Our Father who went to a rating of 148 over hurdles. Nicholls even said he was well handicapped another one is Fago. I taught he would put up a bold show he ran a stinker much like Kauto Stone.

Its not that his horses a losing Its the manner in which there beaten.

I think Merehead is well handicapped but he has 2 years off so you cant judge him on that run.

His better horses like Tidal Bay, Ptit Zig, Wonderful Charm, Far West, Unioniste, Sametegal, Rolling Aces & Lac Fontana have all run well enough.

Fago is hard to judge, not shown anything since his fall.

It is all about opinions,STS.
I could not have had Fago on my mind.
