Topamichi returning after 41 days same as Barwick yesterday ,both in form horsse dropped in class effectively and with no ground concerns. They shouldve placed at worst but tailed off the pair.

Unfit horses yet again Mark , 41 days has he been on holiday or something?Cry

No excuses i'm afraid unless 'virus' , he's just not managed to prepare his horses correctly.

How do these people manage to keep going? What props them up, do they clean windows wheeliebins or pinch charity jars from boozers? It fascinates me how these people can somehow get owners.

Agree he treats them just fine, is it the breeding side that keeps it afloat nowadays?

yes breeding from a poor bunch of broodmares . then after filling his stable full of their modest offspring , encouraging new owners with shares in 'exciting prospects' , he wonders why the winners are getting harder to come by.

this will be his worst season and i cant see anything stopping the decline

''Today at Uttoxeter we run Astrogold in the maiden at 1.20. A full field of 18 have been declared. She improved on her first run last time and although the Racing Post is very dismissive of our chance I am sure that if she gets a clear round she will beat more than beat her. ''Crazy unfit and tailed off. think perhaps the racing post know a shade more then Mark and his rose tinted views.

i'm sure its more likely the owners Laughbut yes sensible i'd say. Would never win a race but does bring up the question about the 'promise' he'd seen . Doesn't look to be many stable runners coming up this week.

the 'owner' may to be linked to the stables amateur jockey Miss N McCaffrey and a 5yo home bred Cry

yep but why not let her ride it at least ? strange one.

Likeitlikeitlikeit entered tomorrow after not meeting their reserve it seems , 3800 not sold. With training fees over the winter adding up i fear they might regret that but we'll see.
