He did get cut up by the 3rd and but for that would have won and might still have if landing running at the last but I suppose the argument will be was there room/should he have been challenging where he did?
My first impression was he was a little unlucky because it did look like the 3rd cut him off quite markedly and looked as if there might have been room but I have only seen it once live.

THE 3RD CUT HIM UP ....HE WAS IN FRONT WHAT WAS HE SUPPOSED TO DO ,ON THE RAIL HE STAYED THERE ...THE FKKIN IDIOT TRIED TO COME UP THE INSIDE OF TWO HROSES LOCKED TOGETHER ...MCCOY WOULD HAVE PUNCHED HIS LIGHTS OUT

the runner up would surely have wo if hed come 2 horses wider on the bend instead of getting chopped off, as for the ferguson mhorse , sadly theres no "trickier" stable, I think its hard to have a strong view when this stable have a horse towards the front of the market.

I've watched it again and it wouldn't have done his chances much good if he had to pull 2 horse's widths wide instead of coming up the inner and in a few more strides off the bend he could have ducked inside to the cutaway of the rail but even once pulled wide, what really cost him was the jump at the last where his horse seemed to take an extra little stride instead of jumping it when he expected it to.

It was harder to lose the race than win it from where he was before the home bend. With the two up ahead having had an eyeball war, he had two simple options that would have seen him home: 1. Swoop around the outside. 2. Wait until they turned in before pulling wide. He chose the third option: 3. Go for a non existent gap and lose momentum just at the wrong time. A very poor riding performance.

Oh I don't know, I think you can trump me on that score paulie wallnuts.
I haven't said he wouldn't have won if he had pulled wide because he was ultimately forced to anyway and still almost won, what I alluded to and you are struggling to comprehend is that at that stage of the race when on the rail and up the @rse of the one in front and only about a length down, he would have had to take a pull and come out and around 2 other horses which would probably have meant losing a bit of ground to do so, so at that stage of the race when all 3 jockeys should be riding finishes, that wouldn't have helped his chances then when he'd have to edge out whilst the other 2 were still going at it.
Had he tracked the winner and been a length down on that one and racing off the rail it would have been far easier and would not have cost him as much momentum to only have to pull around the one runner. For that reason I can see why he would have stuck to the inside to wait for the cut away of the rail to scoot up the inner. That doesn't mean that was the best decision entirely he could have made but it's understandable that once he was in the position then that was the one he made.
Of course he would have been better off racing off the rail to begin with and pulling wide but he should have done so earlier and not from such a tight position on the rail.

You really aren't very bright are you mate?......Look who posted first in the thread and then who quoted and then aimed abuse and then you come out with the classic "now go away from me..."
And you are kidding nobody, you read ever single word and probably more than once to give it time to sink in and why even bother coming back into the thread and taking the trouble to reply again if you won't be reading it.
You saw that little number in brackets and couldn't get in here quick enough when you saw there was one more message.
