Feck Off Betting Turnover

havent had a bet with them in over 5 years, maybe more

Opened account with them friday and deposited £500.  Went to have a bet and stake changed to say i could have £0.  telephoned them to which they told me my account had been associated with an existing account in 2003.  Tbh didn't think i had an account in 2003 but accepted it so I said to them ok fair enough can you refund the £500 to which they have refused !!

After numerous phone calls they say if i send them my bank statement - photocopy of the front and back of my debit card and also a photocopy of my passport they will then refund my money.

Pointing out the implications of sending all this data is not advisable they will bot budge  gambling commission do not want to know as its under Gibraltar laws.
Anyone else had similar problem with refunding money.  I offered to take documents into a shop for them to see but they wouldn't have this either.

bookmakers now know they can get away with anything.The racing media nave been corrupted and neutered.The last and current governments have betrayed the British people for money and power.Look how they sold out to the big bookmakers profits against people who needed protection from the legalised theft on the fobts.

Why do people keep voting for them.

Problem is where do you go - who listens we all know how they operate but nobody with any power is listening, its so frustrating, other industries cant get away with it so why the bookmakers !!! Independents don't stand a chance against them. They really have it sown up from the top downwards...

Update to Ladbrokes earlier - I have spoke to my bank who have said categorically not to send documents and they will action from their end.. so I will just have to wait and see, but 1 thing lads did say to me was the problem was with NatWest and ALL NatWest accounts are treated like this and have been for the last 2 years..  Funnily enough the man I spoke to at NatWest denied this and even said he had a Lads account and has never been asked for these documents - Just Blatant lies !!!

sccoby - the activity (depositing and then withdrawing) looks exactly like the "layering" part of money laundering.  If anyone with the effective* IQ of >60 looked at your situation they would realise that your withdrawal is because you can't get a bet.

*the person you will be dealing with is just following orders from a computer so effectively has no intelligence.

coral have the same policy,must send them passport,utility bill to withdraw money.
i refused to do this and closed my account,without placing a bet.

lol I fully understand that but what am I meant to do - the telephone operator ended the call with "is there anything else I can do for you"

Then what else could I possibly want from a bookmaker !!!!!

Should have tried to play it in casino - I bet they would let me do that !!!

Can`t see the problem taking the stuff into one of their shops it would only take a phone call from the manager to verify it.

Ladbrokes has already issued one profits warning this year.

Last month the company reported a steep decline in profits, as a slowdown in gaming machine revenues dented its figures.

In the latest trading update, which was brought forward from next month, Mr Glynn said: "Our digital earnings have been disappointing reflecting a lack of competitiveness in sportsbook, lower margins than planned, and a greater disruptive impact than expected from the transition necessary to grow digital for the long term".

Try telling this story to BBC's Watchdog programme. You never know they might decide to put it on.

There is no need to ever have a bet with this firm as they run racing synergy programme that when ever a horse goes under their price on here they cut it. You can get them to change a price by putting up tenners on here in the morning. Rancid firm run by retards and when the FOBT's money runs dry they will hopefully be no more. yw, 2bf, not much work, just looked at RP betting site and copy and pasted

Rang up this morning for some bets usually get trader but get offered a bit and then use a few other accounts to get all on. Now if your account is restricted you no longer have your bets sent to a trader but you get offered a liability of £10. The  minimum bet on the phone is £25 so they say for you to make these £2 bets up to that amount to have a bet. Something changed on phones this week. Tosers propabaly got rid of all traders to save money

tbf they havent got a trading strategy,so why would they need traders.
