Only stood to win £162.50p ????????????? if these on street bookies are so afraid to lose there ustom to this site then this type of behaviour tells it all!   Fred bet happily obliged around the corner though. Thought billy bills was a top leading high street firm

I cannot understand any bookmaker refusing such a bet.  Disgraceful.

nothing new with them, been like that a couple of years now, you get to know the limits in shops, have to be under 100 in hills and under 200 in corals and baldys

of course you can have as much as you like anywhere if they know you are a mug punter.

Take half a million out of a carrier bag and lay it on the counter and their PR frauds will be all over it, imo...

my mate went into local laddies, apparently the shop has a policy of 50 max sp all dog bets

he asked for 13/8 200 a dog in irish derby final, sorry sir, 50 max

you could not make it up

meanwhile the cuckoo's nest candidates are lumping notes in the victim roulette machine

Betfair sp was 2.84 about Outstrip on Saturday - available, I would imagine, to proper money. High street bookies will run their business as they see fit and if that means knocking back £100 bets on short priced favourites they are well within their rights to do so. I left them to their cartoon racing, bingo & fobt's many years ago and will never go back. Regards.
