I am outside numbers and would like to know if there are any books in the number who dont intend to go.
This will help me decide if it is worth going because I have a long way to travel.
Thanks in anticipation

both your problems have been caused probably since you bought by the "modern trend " better known as pitch renting.
we are trying to get strict guidelines in place with the GC but they take years rather than days to progress things

This fixture aint been that clever over the last
Couple of years with the next one ( st leger ) clash being rubbish

But the last one does usually buck the trend

Adge if the case regarding pitch renting is presented to the GC in the right way even the numpties who sit on high at this Government quango cannot fail to recognise that remedial action is desperately needed for all sorts of reasons.

Adge,  your comments about pitch renting are spot on.
There is nothing more annoying that missing out due to somebody renting a pitch which would otherwise be vacant.
It should be stopped asap

Chesters fixture that clashes with the St Ledger is one that was pinched from Bangor(same management), and was Bangors best day of the year by a long way. Now only a modest day at Chester

Skally,

Pick20,36 and 52 will not be used unless there are any unforseen circumstances,ie weather, staff problems,I intend to go to Beverley. Also pick 35 has not been used for a long time to my knowledge.

democrat , you sum up perfectly what I said earlier about the length of time it takes for the penny to drop at the GC

Thanks for the info Whisky. I wasn,'t sure where u would go.

Probably still need a few more to miss before I will get on. Maybe I should have bought no 52 when it was in the auction.
I will have a word with you about it at the next haydock meeting.
