Very impressed with Hopstrings, jumps well and stays with a good attitude. The current favourite starts off over this trip which worries me slightly and much as AP remains the best jockey on the flat bits the relentless one dimentional tactics on this stables horses worry me.
More than happy to oppose the fav and at worst it seems sure to trade bigger IR.

IF it likes the jumping game using fitz's add 40-45lb on flat rating it gives it 115-120

Hopstrings trained by Charlie. Rumoured to have other things on his mind.
It will be interesting to see the tactics. The trip will make it hard work for a debutant going quickly from the front with AP not exactly excelling at obstacle presentation.
The Flat/NH rating suggests this is a penalty kick the JB horse but that is too simplistic for me.
I liked the resolution of Hopstrings and it is pretty hard work from 2 out at Fontwell.

i'll tell you exactly what will happen to this best horse.
it will drift like a barge today, not jump well and be tailed off. the main reason for this will be that it is unfit and has not been schooled. this will continue until it gets a lenient handicap mark. then the horse will have a break, get fit and be schooled. will hose up landing a massive gamble in a few months.

In a 4 runner race this stable will not fool the handicapper who probably adds 20 on regardless of the distance beaten. They have generally chosen big field races to get a mark. For a 7yo who doesn't look the quickest he will do well to win.

Shoemark needed to get that dodgepot in a battle with eventual winner. Tom O Brien outrode him by staying wide and avoiding such.
What on earth were In-running layers playing at there? Neither favs jumping at all well and yet I was allowed to back both outsiders at 20 ! Cheers!

A very green trade after the first couple but did dive in for bit on my favourite who probably needs a strong ride.
