I like Mick Channon but if he is to make any progress he needs to take a look at his jock. Not even close to being good enough to be a stable jockey.

The Lowther is a race Channon has a pretty good record in and Kaiulani looks to have at least a decent each way chance but with Harley on board no surprise if he yet again proves to be as feeble as you can get at the business end.

correct, he has been generally rubbish for some time now, very weak and lacking any tactical brain..also seems to lack courage in some races.

Considering he's attached to the Channon yard, which houses more than its fair share of pretty slow horses, I had always thought Harley has done well since he came over. Strike rate is ok really, considering. Still, it's all a matter of opinion.

Woeful, despite finishing last but one not beaten very far and I suspect would have gone very close to placing under a half-decent ride. Harley has this strange habit of driving for a few strides the horse usually becomes unbalanced then for some reason he just has the whip in the vertical position above the horses head and looks to be doing absolutely nothing while the other horses run away from him. Pretty sure he has made Jallota look worse than he is as well. He is just very poor.
