A shame, was taking a nice chunk of the market up  Sad

Not my choice (Smarty Socks)

But can obviously handle the going from past form although Good is its preferred

But it shortens the market as the post above

Do trainers get fined for this?

Hopefully, but I suspect fines are more miss than hit.

If you were looking for cut it was extremely doubtful from some way off that there was going to be any. Wild Coco is another significant non-runner. Punters ignore horses who might want softer ground and then they get hit by rule 4's - I haven't got any stats but it seems like more than ever this year.

Quote from Hannon Jnr in today's Post 'will be fine on the ground'. That's fine territory in my book.

It should be the case that a trainer can only withdraw a runner within 24 hours prior to the race if the on-course vets deems it not fit to run
I believe that's the case in France and there are hefty fines for late w/d.

By acclamation out of a mark of esteem mare fast ground should be right up wentworths street, maybe the deplorable run of toronado has had an influence?.
